This chapter, there are a lot talking about to change the anxious thinking. The one step that is Self-awareness. Because that's important to recognize our anxiety and identify what exactly makes our so anxious.

Changing the anxious thinking is actually an easy thing to do. However, if we cannot trust our goals, that makes it difficult. The important thing to change our anxious thoughts is to change also the thinking and avoid the negative things that make us fall ourselves. Examples such as when we will meet with superiors who are the commonly known terrible. At that moment, there will be a voice that says we hear "What if today is not responded again?". It is the sound resulting from negative thinking and negative thinking that causes our anxiety.


Shame is a very big feeling can cause anxiety. Everyone must have felt it. Especially small children, they are very easily embarrassed for small things. But if the greater the feeling of shame, I will be more difficult to control and will endanger ourselves. For adults, it's hard to say clearly that we're embarrassed, but we have to fight it. Trying to change the shame is not a weakness. Talk about this with people you trust so those feelings of shame can be controlled.

In addition to telling about changing anxious thoughts, this chapter also tells about Pattern Matching. "When you experience anything in your life, you are thinking about something similar in your life." (Page 22).

Meaning Making Machines. The example is when you ignored someone and your mind makes own interpretation of the situation and makes its own meaning out of it. The meaning our make affect the way our feelings and then how our behaviour as a result. So the interpretation our make about the thing that happens at work have a significant influence on the amount of anxiety your experiences in our day.

Do you ever feel anxious when asked to explain your own ideas? Why did it happen? Or do you just jump to the conclusion that the idea you made would be useless when discussed? It could be called magical thinking. When you feel that your idea is wrong and will not be accepted, it is just your thinking. In fact, the idea is necessary for a consideration in solving the problem and make a goal.
