In this chapter, Jenny tells some about Anxiety. According to her, anxiety attacks the whole background of people's lives and to make it beyond its culture. Anxiety comes from an excessive nervous feeling. This outbreak is transmitted silently. However, the more symptoms occur, anxiety can cause panic. Then why anxiety can develop? Here explained that our anxiety is still difficult to find the cause for sure. It's because everyone has a different genetic predisposition. One major of the causes of anxiety is the nature of perfectionism. Such as when something is missing, we keep thinking about the deficiency until put ourselves under pressure.
Nowadays, there are some things that can "feed" or increase the anxiety. Like, put a photo on social media. In general, putting a photo on social media has several risks, one of which is anxiety to be humiliated. The anxiety will increase if we can not control it.
"Stress affects each of us differently, depending on our background, personality and experiences," Jenny said. But from that dependence, there are, some of the signs and symptoms of anxiety seen from different aspects. From the physical aspects such as nail biting, insomnia, shortness of chest and other. The second aspect is the emotional aspects such as anger, tearful, loneliness, and others. The third is the behavioural aspects such as lack of appetite or overeating and the last is the psychological aspect of one of the symptoms of excessive fear such as fear of being alone, fear of illness or fear of social interaction. From some examples above, we can know what kind of anxiety sign we feel. After knowing it, avoid feeling panic. The panic comes from an exaggerated anxiety. The more panic, the more dangerous. The way to deal with anxiety is to try to relax, let it flow until your body feels comfortable. after that, try to face it rationally. Dealing with that anxiety, you also try to save your own life. Because anxiety has a bad effect on our lives such as health, career, relationships and the ability to enjoy life.
